 |
"The DuPont Show of the Week" Summary |
| |
The DuPint Show of the week was an anthology series of programs that showcased musical variety, dramatic shows, documentaries, and special projects. For three seasons it was NBC's late Sunday evening "class" showcase, with the best available talent talent, both in front of and behind the cameras. One of the aims of the series was to show the latitude and potential of the television medium as a means of communication. The show was canceled after 2 1/2 years due to poor ratings and loss of writing talent.
