"Families" Summary |

Families aired on the ITV network in the United Kingdom and was created by Kay Mellor. The series followed the lives of the Thompson and Stevens family. The Thompson's lived in England while the Stevens were based in Australia. Diana Stevens and Mike Thompson had a past which connected them and would bring the lives of the two families togther.
The Australia part of the series was soon dropped and members of the Stevens family moved to the United Kingdom. In 1992 the Banerman family were introduced to the series and became the new central family on the show. The series was cancelled in 1993.
