Bright Promise aired on the NBC network in the United Stated and was created by Doris and Frank Hursley.

At the start the show explored a number of younger oriented topics. Low ratings forced NBC to revamp the show with more common soap opera storylines introduced.

The show was cancelled in March, 1972.
