Trunk: Daley, I'll give you one guess as to why I'm in such a good mood.
Daley: Umm, Inspector Hammer has been kidnapped by aliens for use in laboratory experiments.
Trunk: Close. Hammer is going to trial today for murder.
Doreau: Captain, you don't seriously believe that Hammer shot Hugo Victor in cold blood, do you?
Trunk: Doreau, What I can't believe is that Hammer shot him only once. Restraint is not one of Hammer's strong points.
Hammer: Umm, I would just like to say, your Honor, that is a particularly becoming shade of black you're wearing.
Judge Grim: Inspector Hammer, this court will not be influenced by flattery.
Hammer: Would you rather have cash?
Doreau: Your Honor, we can hire an attorney from the "Save Hammer" fund started at the precinct...
Hammer: How much did you collect?
Trunk: A dollar ninety-nine.
Hammer: Then I'll send you both on a permanent vacation. You can have a family reunion in a place where bad people go and burn for eternity.
Hugo: I've already been to the Bahamas.
Suzi Swallow: What do you think?
Hammer: Hey, I never think. That's what makes me a good cop.
Doreau: Listen, I'm behind you all the way.
Hammer: That's nice of you, Doreau. But they don't have co-ed jails. I tell you what, we'll split the time.
Hammer: What, she offered.
