Show Tidbits
The part of the show Chums, was based of the tv show Friends
Whenever they had a magician as a guest on the show, Cat Deeley often acted as their assistant in a large-scale illusion. At various times during the show's run, she was levitated, made to disappear or appear, crushed, stretched, impaled by spikes, and had her head chopped off by a guillotine. Most common, though, was for her to be sawn in half, and she became the first British celebrity to take part in the "Clearly Impossible" version of the illusion, where she was sawn in half inside a clear box which allowed an unobstructed view of her entire body while she was sawn through and her halves separated.
