Dean: (reading) “Marion”—I guess that’s what Jonah Greeley’s wife’s first name was—“My darling Marion. I love you more as I write this then I did last night when we spoke. My love for you is greater than ever. Sincerely, your loving husband, Jonah.” Well, judging by this letter, sure sounds like he loved her.
Sam: Was it the “I love you more than ever” part that tipped you off?
Dean: Yeah. That and the whole “your loving husband” thing.
Sam: My theory is, some spirits might be attached to this world because they don’t know if they’re supposed to die. All I know is, I sure as hell hope that where they go is a better place then where they’ve been.
Sam: Believe me, I know how hard it is to let people go. To leave a loved one behind. But you just have to hope... that they’re off to a better place. That’s what I choose to believe.
Dean: So tell me, what’s it like hugging a ghost? Is it everything you dreamed it would be?
Dean: All right, all right, that was lame. But at least she wasn’t as bad as we thought she would be... for a ghost.
