This is a story about a man named Jed, a poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed, then one day he was shootin at some food, and up through the ground came a bubblin' crude. Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea. Well the first thing you know 'ol Jed's a millionaire, Kinfolk said "Jed move away from there" Said "Californy is the place you ought to be"So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly. Hills, that is. Swimmin' pools, movie stars.

What’s the best sitcom I’ve ever seen? No doubt it’s Beverly Hillbillies! I'm a big fan of GRANNY! For the most part, this show really gave pure entertainment and packed with group of talented actors/actresses and yea the best actress should be given to Cloris Leachman! i purchased a dvd set of this TV series at www.yourdvdcorner.com which provided me an excellent copy with all the complete episodes as well! I will have to rate Beverly Hillbillies a very high on account of good clean SITCOM which is recommendable for the whole family! Read more

1x8: Jethro Goes to School recap: Jed realizes that he has neglected to enroll Jethro in elementary school so sets out to the Pots Elememtary school to meet the Principal and enroll him in the 3rd grade. The school Principle gladly enrolls him thinking that Jethro the "budding genius" must be a child prodagy. She is shocked when she sees that Jethro is actually a full grown man... read more.

1x6: Trick or Treat recap: Granny is upset that none of their new neighbors came calling on them to welcome them to the neighborhood so Jed talks them all in to going out to greet their neighbors.
