The Housing Enforcers follows Matt Allwright as he teams up with Britain's housing officers. He works shoulder to shoulder with local council housing staff as a trainee and joins them on the frontline in the battle between tenants and landlords.
Already my blood is boiling - we see situations of overcrowding in a house not big enough for 4 people with , seemingly several families living there . The excuse ? Poverty . Well , in todays Britain, the benefits system is so generous , even goes so far as to pay child benefit to the parents of children not even living in the country - that LHA ( local housing allowance) would easily pay for these people to live separately .
