The Laurel & Hardy Show was a syndicated series in which the old short films from the famed duo were shown country-wide. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy played a number of roles, mainly as themselves throughout a 30 year period. The boys made 32 silent short films, 40 talkie films and another 23 feature length movies. This series showed only the talkie films and were either shown in a half hour or one hour block. The comedy of Laurel & Hardy is as fresh now as it was back in the 1920's.
The boys find themselves in trouble with Ollie's wife when its discovered that the money in which Ollie gave Stanley to hold for when he pays off the furniture bill is the same money he gave Ollie for another payment, and now the payment for the furniture has come due. Stanley suggest that they use what money they have to buy used furniture, but they then spend it all at an auction for 1 item. Ollie's wife causes him harm when she hears of this and Stan gives a blood transfusion which makes a change in their body chemistry.
