He leaps for the buck first but it throws him clear and runs off. When the man suggests that they become "better acquainted," Jane throws him through the saloon window, goes up to the bartender, and asks after Wooden Leg Gibson. He says he hasn't and Jane explains that she fought her there over 400 miles, dodging renegade Cheyenne attacks, with a lame horse for the last 40 miles.
