Robin is shocked and angry when he hears about the death of Neston. Tom tells him that Marian is held as a prisoner at the Huntingdon estate. Later on Much arrives and confirms this is true. Robin vows he will avenge the death of her uncle by killing Gisborne. He asks Ralph to deliver a message to Gisborne.
Gisborne is concerned for Marian’s welfare, but she keeps her distance from her uncle’s murderer. Sir Guy goes to his sister in desperation. She is a nun and he tells her he wishes to marry Marian.
