The Loretta Young Show was an anthology series which was broadcast on the NBC network in the United States from 1953 to 1961. Originally called Letter to Loretta each episode was a self contained story. Loretta Young both hosted the series and starred in many of the episodes. Ms. Young's trademark was her sweeping entrance usually wearing a stunning designer gown.
