The Mothers-In-Law

This sitcom, which aired on NBC from 1967-69, marked the return of Desi Arnaz to series television. Arnaz served as the show's executive producer and appeared on a recurring basis. The storyline dealt with two feuding women who must learn to co-exist with each other due to the fact that their children have gotten married. Eve Arden and Kaye Ballard starred in the title roles.

1x1: On Again, Off Again, Lohengrin recap: The Roger Buell has written a TV script and the Buells want to watch the episode on the Hubbard's colour television. The Hubbards pretend to have gone out to avoid having to entertain the Buells. When the Buells break in to use the TV, the Hubbards hide in the closet. They overhear the Buells disparaging them and come out of the closet to announce they want nothing to do with the Buells any longer.
