Episode Quotes
visual: Larry Bird waxes his spaceship while son Reggie Jackson watches.
Larry: You have to really put your back into it...
Reggie: I know, Dad.
Larry: Otherwise the spaceship wax won't adhere.
Reggie: I know, Dad.
Larry: And if meteor dust penetrates the finish, then you're in a real bind.
Reggie: I know, Dad.

Marty: We're gonna have to come up with some kind of excuse, okay, but we have to be gentle. We don't want to upset Larry.
Debbie: Why are you so worried about upsetting Larry?
Marty: You don't know?
Debbie: No.
Marty: It's a whole thing with him.
Debbie: What?
Marty: Because he's their leader, every time he feels pain or rejection, the whole community feels it with him.
Debbie: Oh, please.
Marty: I'm telling you.

visual: Doorbell rings, Debbie and Marty answer their door.
Larry: I'm here to dominate the men.
Jackie: (imitates New Jersey accent) And I'm here to hang with the bitches.

Debbie: Do I have to spell it out for you? I did not want you to come.
Jackie: (to Debbie's friends) If you bitches will excuse me.

Larry: Sound advice, Marty Weaver. Long walk to get there but sound advice.
Marty: Yeah, I know.
Larry: I thought the story would never end. I was beginning to panic.
Marty: Okay, we're done.

Marty: How was girls' night?
Debbie: We got into a bar fight. How was guys' night?
Marty: Everyone talked about their dads and cried.
