The classic Erle Stanley Gardner character Perry Mason, fresh off the landmark TV series starring Raymond Burr, returns, with Monte Markham as the crusading lawyer and Sharon Acker as his secretary, Della Street.

The series continues its formula of setting up a puzzling mystery, with the identity of the true culprit withheld until the dramatic finale — and -Mason always being firmly convinced of the innocence of his client. Harry Guardino costars as Mason's courtroom adversary, Hamilton Burger, district attorney of Los Angeles; Sharon Acker is Mason's secretary, Della Street: Albert Stratton plays private detective Paul Drake; Dane Clark is Lt. Arthur Tragg of the Los Angeles homicide squad; and Brett Somers portrays Gertrude, Mason's receptionist.
