The Waltons: The Abdication

As John Boy's screenplay is being filmed on Walton's Mountain, an old writing friend of his comes to visit. Following John Boy being fired for wanting to change to speech of the mountain folk in the movie, he is given the opportunity to go to New York. Also discussed in this episode is the Abdication of King Edward the Eight in order to continue his relationship of an American woman.
