The Waltons: The Long Night

After spending too much time missing Grandma, Grandpa decides it is time for her to come home, even though her doctors advise against it. When he and John arrive back home without Grandma, he soon becomes depressed and the family works to get his spirits back up. Meanwhile, Corabeth advises Aimee not to spend time with Elizabeth, when all she wants to do is play with the other children on the mountain instead of being turned into a proper young lady.

When the family learns that Grandma will be coming home from the hospital soon, they are relieved, especially since her stay there is becoming a financial burden to the family. When Grandpa and John arrive at the hospital though, they soon learn that Grandpa wanted to take her back to the mountain because of how much he misses her. However, when he voices his disapproval of the hospital staff, Grandpa soon gets banned from visiting Grandma anymore...
