An often funny quiz show in which, if the contestants got their questions wrong, they had to pay the price by taking part in a stunt. The show originally began on NBC radio. After its first season on CBS it then switched to NBC (between the years 1956 and 1965 the show was part of the daytime schedules but also continued as a prime time show until 1958). The show was hosted by Ralph Edwards (1950-54), Jack Bailey (1954-56), and Bob Barker (1956-65). The show went into syndication from 1966-78; this version was again hosted by Bob Barker. Then in 1977-78 Bob Hilton took over as host of the syndicated version. Finally there was another revival in 1987-88; this was hosted by Larry Anderson.
