Voces: Escaramuza: Riding from the Heart

A look at Las Azaleas, a team of Mexican-American horsewomen from Riverside County, Cal., as they prepare to represent the U.S. at the National Charro Championships in Mexico. Since they began in 2005, the team have performed intricate, synchronized horse ballets at many rodeos, and have won regional and national championships. The documentary details the team's training prior to heading to Mexico and the issues the women face, including family matters and worries about drug-cartel violence.
