Episode Quotes
Flint: If all days were like today this job would be a picnic.
Adams: Sure would. Even the women are calm and peaceable.

Flint: Cliff's all right, Major. If he can't shoot a buffalo, he can sure talk him to death.

Flint: (about Grundy) When he stops talkin' about that mine we'll know he's dead.

Flint: Are you all right, Cliff?
Grundy: No, I ain't, but I ain't gonna die either.

Flint: How do you feel?
Grundy: I feel like I been tromped on by a herd of buffalo. How do you think I feel?

Manson: (about the Sioux) What chance would we have if they came back?
Flint: What chance would Cliff have if we left him?

Grundy: It appears I ain't a corpse yet.
Flint: No, but you might not have long to wait.

Grundy: Mr. McCullough, would you care to join me in a little stroll to nowhere?

Episode Goofs
In the scene where Flint and Cliff Grundy are attacked by a bear it's pretty obvious that it's an actor wearing a bear suit.

Better than you would expect from an Aaron Spelling penned episode but that's mostly because of a great guest shot from Dan Duryea as the tall tale telling frontiersman Cliff Grundy. Russell Johnson also does well as a character who starts out decently enough but later lets his greed get the best of him.
