Wolfgang Puck introduces the chefs to a potato-centric mystery box challenge and in the elimination challenge, the cooks need to recreate one of Gordon's signature dishes.

The 18 cooks are put into two teams to prepare appetizers and entrees for Season 6 contestant Nick Nappi's wedding day.

The remaining 17 chefs are joined by Season 6 winner Claudia Sandoval and guest culinary judge Aarón Sánchez and they have just 60 minutes to create a dish using Sandoval's favorite ingredients.

Gordon shows how to create a lobster tortellini dish, then challenges the cooks to re-create the dish as instructed.

The chefs have to prepare a steak, two sides and a sauce for 101 hungry veterans with the losing team facing a dreaded pressure test.

The contestants have to create four entree dishes using ingredients purchased for $20 or less.

The twelve contestants left in in the running have to come up with 30 dishes for teens celebrating their Sweet 16 birthdays.
