Two Kenyan Guys

Two Kenyan Guys

As the modern world begins to encroach on the Maasai and Samburu way of life, there is concern they are in danger of losing their traditions. The younger generation is being tempted to leave the villages for the promise of jobs and money in the cities. Best friends and fierce warriors, Lemarti Loyaban and Boniface Kandari have decided that rather than fear the modern world, they need to understand it. So with the elders' blessing, they travel to the New York on a voyage of discovery. They plan to learn and try to understand the modern world by immersing themselves into New York culture. They are also there to represent the Maasai and Samburu tribes and to try and cross the cultural divide. (Source: National Geographic Channel)

Loved Two Kenyan Guys! on NatGeo. Wish there were more episodes, I would love to see them in Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Hollywood. They have an amazing sense of humor, and such a refreshingly different view of the world. Two thumbs up, excellent films, I laughed all the way through. We need more shows like this. Read more

This show totaaly made me laugh and smile. I really wonder what they would have thought if they could have seen a movie or video of the weapons we have made - then they would see how they are right to say, where all this is going...it can not be good. I love goats and raise goats - I would have made a good US bride for Kenya in my younger years! =) Read more
