I was excited to hear about this programme but could simply not believe what I was watching. The programme contained absolutely no information or research on "The Truth About Dogs Food" whatsoever. All it did was introduce us to a selection of UK Dog Loving NUTTERS who clearly have no idea what to feed their dogs (let alone themselves) ! We discover that Brighton is actually now the Gay-Vegan-Dog capital of the UK ....... go figure that ? There was the complete loon of a woman who takes in Dogs but only if they are Vegan - what does she do - ask them first ??? - oh come on ! - and then there is the Holistic Vet sticking pins in a dog (of which in the case in question the Black Labrador was NOT happy about at all) ........ Im sorry - a Holistic Vet ....... a VET ????? - surely not ? - I would love to see his Vetinary Qualifications .... LOL. Channel 5 ought to be ashamed of themselves - this was billed and advertised as something that I expected to be insightful and well researched - but it was completely the opposite. I expected to see independent analysis of current dog foods - and conclusions as to why they were bad for dogs - but no such luck :( How do these people convince the bosses at C5 to put money into such misleading rubbish - C5 ought to be reported to the Advertising Standards Authority ! A complete waste of time and just ANOTHER programme about UK Loon Dog Lovers !!!! Read more
