  Rating: 2 likes, 0 dislikes@ Horrido "And every so often a beautiful plane identified as a Spitfire would flash across the screen displaying a large scoop under its nose and looking suspiciously like a Hawker Tempest (or possibly Typhoon). general reviewRating: 0 likes, 2 dislikes As a long-time warbird aficionado I was really looking forward to Air Aces. The idea seemed promising and the aircraft looked great in the promos. They looked outstanding in the show, too, but there were a couple of things on screen I found disconcerting. First, this premiere episode was about George Buerling, known to aviation history as "Buzz". Yet nowhere that I heard was his nickname even mentioned. Can you imagine a story about William Bishop that never referred to him as 'Billy'? It may be that his mates called him George, but that's not how history remembers him.
