“Amor a Palos” was a romantic drama soap known in European countries as a telenovela. It debuted on RCTV (Radio Caracas Television) in Venezuela on 19 September 2005 and aired for 1 season before finally be cancelled and airing its’ last new episode on 25 April 2006. The story revolved around a very Christian young girl named Ana Jesús Amaral who was played by actress “Norkys Batista”. She enlists the aide of attorney Juan Marco Coronel played by actor “Luciano D'Alessandro” who was the first person who ever kissed her when she was very young.

Juan has turned into a womanizer over the years and is bet $100,000.00 that he can’t sleep with at least 70 different women in a one-year period. Juan had not seen Ana in many years and he would try to make her the 7th woman he had seduced so far. However something totally unexpected happens and he not only falls in love with Ana but she also becomes pregnant. Now how will he ever conquer 63 more woman this year to win his bet? The theme song for this series was titled “No Me Lo Vas A Creer” and it was sung by the very popular Colombian singer “Maia”.
