In LA, Peggy aids Daniel in an investigation into a mysterious Lady of the Lake killer... who left his victim frozen in a block of ice.

Jason turns against his employers and seeks out Peggy's help. Meanwhile, Daniel's girlfriend meets Peggy for the first time, and the Council tells Calvin that the zero matter program is coming to an end.

Vernon puts pressure on Jack to shutdown Peggy's investigation of the Isodyne explosion. Meanwhile, Peggy and Daniel discover who Whitney really is.

Peg's life before the war and how she became a secret agent, are compared to Whitney's life as a poor Oklahoma girl with a gift for technology. In the present, Peggy and Jarvis abduct Calvin's hitman and attempt to break him.

Peggy recruits an unlikely band of allies to help her steal two atomic warheads before Whitney can obtain them and recreate the Isodyne experiment.

Calvin arranges for Whitney to meet the Council of Nine, and she provides them with a demonstration of the power of zero matter. Meanwhile, Peggy's injury forces her to recruit another woman to get a sample of the zero matter from Whitney so that they can restore Jason to normal.

After getting a fix on Dottie's location, Peggy and Jarvis go to rescue her... unaware that Whitney has deliberately lured them away from the Stark estate. Meanwhile, Vernon puts pressure on Daniel to find the missing uranium that Peggy stole.

Peggy offers Whitney the uranium rods she needs to recreate the rift explosion, in return for Jason. However, both sides have a trick up their sleeves. Meanwhile, Jack discovers who Vernon is working for, and Jarvis swears revenge on Whitney for shooting his wife.

Peggy launches a desperate attempt to rescue Jason from Whitney before it's too late, but Jack has plans of his own.

The team receives help from an unexpected ally when they try to steal Whitney's formula for the rift generator. Once they build it, they hope to remove the Zero Matter from Whitney and send it back to where it came.
