Aisha Tyler to join the Criminal Minds cast

Aisha Tyler is to join the cast of Criminal Minds for the 11th season to replace Jennifer Love Hewitt who has announced she is leaving the popular series. 

Aisha Tyler is currently a co-host on The Talk and will play Dr Tara Lewis, a psychologist who specialises in forensic psychology.

A press release states: "Her dream was to study psychopaths up close and personal - and her psychology background, combined with her experience in the FBI, brought her face-to-face with monsters."
