Colony renewed for a second season by USA Network

Colony has been renewed for a second season by the USA Network.

It has been renewed with just three episodes having been broadcast from the first season. The order for second season has also been increased to 13 episodes.

USA Network president Chris McCumber said about the show: “Carlton and Ryan have successfully delivered a story that tests the strengths and weaknesses of a society in duress, and the bonds of a family divided. Colony’s performance across all platforms has been impressive, and we can’t wait to see where the story takes us.”

Having only watched the first episode so far, I'm not thrilled.

Hoping for a bit more in the next few episode to keep it interesting. There must be something good in store since they already renewed it, hopefully at least. Otherwise the "performance" might drop a good deal towards the end of the first season.
