Primetime Ratings, Wednesday January 18, 2012

Wednesday offered a barrel of laughs as Modern family proved still to be the most viewed comedy on television. However with the premiere of American Idol, it took the first spot with 21.607 Million viewers. Of course, it was clear that was going to happen. The other programs fared fairly well in the ratings. However, the CW had the poor night with One Tree Hill and Remodeled. With the winter shows coming and going, it is clear that several of these "new series" are not going to get their golden ticket per say to the next season. Whereas the shows have proven to be somewhat tollerable this night, there were only a few that filled the numbers without any issues. With American Idol taking the cake from most of these shows tonight, it is only right that they get their time. The numbers for January 18, 2012 are:

Do you feel that these numbers are correct? Whereas some of your favorites didn’t do well today, there is always the end to bad ratings. Unless you are on the CW and then it is going to be hard for you to get the viewers you want. What do you think?
