Chris Matthews


Former Congressional aide who parlayed his experiences in Washington into a career as a political pundit on television. Has hosted the political talk show Hardball for many years on both CNBC and MSNBC. Although Matthews (and the show) was moderate, sometimes even conservative, in tone during the early years, Hardball became noticably more liberal after the election of George W. Bush to the presidency.
