WCW Monday Nitro

WCW Monday Nitro premiered in September 1995 as a 3 hour show. Nitro featured superstars like Chris Jericho, Goldberg, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, and Ric Flair. Its main rival was the WWF's brand of Monday night wrestling also known as WWF Monday Raw. For a period of 82 weeks in a row this show beat Raw in the ratings. Then in 2001 the WWE bought the WCW and this show had its series finale in March 2001.
