A secret government agency recruits Kirsten Clark, a woman with an unusual psychological condition, to participate in their "stitcher" project. The team's scientists can "stitch" Kirsten into the memories of the recently deceased and find out how they were killed... or who they were planning to kill. First up: Kirsten goes after a bomber who died in one of his own explosions, but left bombs behind set to go off.

Maggie delays the stitch into Ed's memories to have Kirsten investigate a girl who died of a drug overdose. Kirsten is soon back out in the field, and Quincy is intent on stopping her.

Kirsten becomes emotionally involved when a husband is accused of murdering his newlywed wife for the insurance. Meanwhile, Camille asks Linus for his help putting a stereo together, and Cameron pays another visit to Marta.

Cameron's new downstairs neighbor is murdered, and the team suspects that Cameron may have been the target. Meanwhile, Maggie suspects that someone broke into the Stitchers lab.

When the algorithm for the Stitchers program turns up among thousands of classified documents hidden by a conspiracy theorist, Kirsten starts to suspect her colleagues. Meanwhile, Kirsten starts getting cryptic messages from an unexpected source.
