Recap

Christian and the others emerge from The Shaft to find widespread devastation in the wake of Wolfe's escape. As Cross calls it in, Triphammer calls for a full lockdown. Retro Girl arrives and they explain that Wolfe is no longer interested in eating people because he can absorb the powers of the 100+ Kids who took Sway. Christian says that if he gets close enough to Wolfe then he can absorb his powers, but the others point out that they couldn't trust him...

Episode Quotes
Wolfe: You have a Wolfe-shaped space in your soul. I carved it out the last time we danced together. And I'll live in there forever. 'Cause you can never beat me.
Zora: Beat this!

Johnny: Feeding time? Gloating time? Or am I to receive a lobotomy?
Christian: We need your help.
Johnny: Fuck! You!

Calista: Could you help me?
Wolfe: Power is the ability to exert your will on the world around you. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something. Like maybe a book.

Wolfe: They're right outside. Waiting to be plucked. I am not suggesting this is easy. But life is a wearying endeavor. You have to make a choice, you have to decide how much of it you really want. The little bit that is rationed to everyone, or a heaping bounty that you must reap for yourself. You want another taste?

Wolfe: You have misconstrued me entirely. Always! You thought i was grooming you for some great ascension, and when I lost my... composure, you thought I had been fattening you like cattle. Wrong!
Johnny: You wanted a family.
Wolfe: A legacy. A family that could outlast me. I never meant to eat them. They were just so ripe.

Christian: Ah, the hero of the day.
Johnny: That's always been the difference between you and me. In the midst of unspeakable carnage, you still consider how it plays to the masses.

Retro Girl: Do you remember that night when we were in bed and you called me "Queen Noir."
Christian: Heh. Yeah. Yeah, I'm sorry.
Retro Girl: Should've thrown you right out that window.
Christian: You did throw me out that window.
Retro Girl: Did I?
Christian: Yeah, remember?
Retro Girl: Oh. Good for me. You deserved it.
