ALMA Awards

The ALMA Awards, or the American Latino Media Arts Awards, are given to Latinos in film, television, and music. The National Council of La Reza created the awards in 1995, and ABC began broadcasting them in 1998. The awards were not held from 2003-2005, but they relaunched in 2006.
