Amazing Stories

Amazing Stories executive producer Steven Spielberg grew up on such anthology shows as The Outer Limits, One Step Beyond and The Twilight Zone. As a young man he directed the pilot of Rod Serling’s Night Gallery series. So when NBC wanted to create a new anthology series, Spielberg jumped at the chance. The series lasted two years on NBC and had some very highly talented individuals work on the series (including directors as Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielberg, and including actors Kevin Costner, Drew Barrymore, Sam Waterston, and Charlie Sheen).
