Boston Marathon

The Universal Sports Network will be airing the 2014 Boston Marathon on 21 April 2014. The 118th running of this annual sporting event will be aired live nationally for the very first time. The is 26.2 miles long and most of the very best long-distance runners in the world will be competing in this race. The day begins with a 2-hour long pre-race preview show at 6:30 AM, EST followed by the race at 8:30 AM. The Women's Elite group begins the marathon at 9:30 followed at 10 AM by the Men's Elite. He is arguably the best long-distance runner in the world and the defending champion of the 2013 Boston marathon Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia will be running again this year.
