The first lines out of dude's mouth, after the scene where he has his accident, are not encouraging. Maybe the story is the story and that's it. This is just faithful to the original material. Not that it makes that much difference to me. (For the record, I thought the Ben Affleck version was awesome, even though I have zero use for Ben Affleck's boosting of the American police state.) Maybe this show will just be another vehicle for Hollywood/CIA to sell it's deadly 'Ra, ra USA. Violence will carry the day' propaganda. Let's see.
