A&E Orders Reality Series Starring The Lachey Brothers

Reality shows from stars in popular culture are all the rage now a days. Celebrities from all walks of life have signed up for these behind-the-scene docuseries that are popping up of cable networks everywhere. Shows such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kendra on Top, and Wahlburgers have given viewers a look inside of the day-to-day lives of their favorite stars. 2015 will keep the genre alive with a new reality series about the Lachey brothers.

A&E has ordered a new reality series that will follow Nick and Drew Lachey as they try to open a bar in Cincinnati, Ohio, their hometown. Nick and Drew were both a part of the boy band 98 Degrees, who remained active from 1997 to 2003. According to A&E, the series is slated to begin in 2015, and will consist of 10 episodes.

This is not A&E's first go-around at a reality series of this sort. The network can also be credited for ordering the formerly mentioned series Wahlburgers, which gives viewers a look at the lives of the Wahlbergs, centered around a restaurant of the same name owned by Donnie and Mark Wahlberg's older brother, Chef Paul Wahlberg.

This will not be Nick's first time having a tv show that followed his day-to-day life either. He also starred in a reality series that aired on MTV entitled Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, which followed the marriage of Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. The series ran from 2003 to 2005. In 2011, TLC aired a special entitled Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding, which gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Nick's getting married to Vanessa Mannillo. Drew Lachey made appearances in both.
