Annual "Dempsey Challenge" Collects Over $1.1 Million for Cancer
Patrick Dempsey, 80s icon and star of 'Grey's Anatomy', collected over $1.1 million with his annual fundraiser to help support the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. The event, dubbed the "Dempsey Challenge" features walking, running, and cycling. The inspiration came from Dempsey's mom, who suffered from ovarian cancer.
