Wheel of Fortune (US)

One of the most popular game shows in history, Wheel of Fortune is a game similar to a game of hangman. Hosted by Pat Sajak and featuring Vanna White as the letter turner, three contestants compete to be the first to solve the puzzle, whose categories may include people, places, before and after, event, etc. During a contestant's turn, a giant wheel is spun with slots containing different dollar amounts that are won per correct letter guessed along with prize spaces and others including bankrupt, lose a turn, and free spin. After in incorrect guess, lose a turn, or bankruptcy is landed on, the turn goes to the next person. At any point during a turn, a contestant can 'buy a vowel', elect to spin again, or solve the puzzle.

At the end of the game, the contestant with the most money won gets to play in the Bonus Round. The contestant gets 15 seconds to solve the puzzle. If correctly solved, the contestant wins the grand prize.
