Eric Stonestreet is an American actor, and was born on September 9, 1971 in Kansas City, Kansas. Stonestreet entered the acting game later than most, appearing in his first film role at the age of 29, in the Cameron Crowe directed 'Almost Famous.' The movie roles he booked after that were in mostly low-profile stuff, but Stonestreet would see more luck working on the small screen. Stonestreet has appeared in guest roles on popular series such as 'Dharma and Greg', 'Malcolm in the Middle', 'Party of Five', 'Spin City', 'Bones', 'The Mentalist', 'Pushing Daisies', 'Monk', and 'Nip/Tuck.' He also played the recurring character of Ronnie Litre on the first few seasons of 'CSI.' Stonestreet finally hit it big as a leading actor in 2009, taking the role of Cameron Tucker on ABC's 'Modern Family.' The show became a huge hit, raising Stonestreet's stock in Hollywood. When not working on 'Family', Stonestreet has popped up on the FX drama 'American Horror Story', and played small roles in films like 'Bad Teacher', 'The Muppets', and 'Identity Thief.'
