Scott Bakula


Scott Bakula grew up in a musical family in St. Louis, Missouri. When he was 10, he started a rock band playing the drums, performing as the lead singer and sometime-songwriter. Later, he sang with the St. Louis Symphony. In the mid 70's, he was first hired professionally in the role of Sam in "Shenandoah" and went to New York. He worked his way into other small roles and eventually starred in well known programs "Quantum Leap" (1989) and Star Trek: Enterprise (2001). He is a fan of Hockey enjoying a day on the Star Trek set with the Stanley cup courtesy of his friend Luc Robitaille and has appeared in commercials for the Los Angeles Kings.

Bakula won a Golden Globe in 1992 on the program Quantum Leap for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV series - Drama. Bakula was also nominated for a Tony award prior to winning the Golden Globe.
