Daria, the cynical and sarcastic title character, does her best to question authority and point out the shallowness that she comes across at Lawndale High. With the help of her best friend Jane, Daria continues to show the world just how superficial it can be.
Daria must constantly deal with her parents, who worry about her antisocial tendencies, and her sister Quinn, who is the exact opposite of Daria.
However, Daria was known to soften every once and awhile. During first few seasons, Daria had a crush on Trent, Jane's brother, but eventually go over her feelings for him. Daria soon met Tom, and their relationship grew over the last few seasons of the series.
