Chad arrives at the mansion and Andre questions him about receiving any word from Stefano. Chad tells Andre he is just picking up the last of his things before leaving. Before Chad leaves, he notices a spot of blood on a small statue.
Kayla has a bag packed because she has been called to speak with the donor association. Before Kayla leaves, Steve tells her about the baby. Kayla thinks Ava is just pulling one over on them and she heads out to confront Kayla before leaving to speak with the donor's association. When Kayla arrives she finds Joey in Ava's room and the two admit that Ava was the one working with Joey to get Steve and Kayla back together. After Joey leaves, Kayla and Ava exchange words and when Kayla goes to leave, Ava hits her over the head with a candlestick holder.
Abigail tells Jennifer and JJ her engagement news. Both worry about Chad's intentions and his past behavior towards Abigail. Later, Chad shows up to speak with JJ and Jennifer but JJ is not home so Jennifer agrees to speak with him. As the two speak, Jennifer clutches her back and passes out.
