Educational and entertainingRating: 1 likes, 1 dislikes Formerly CourtTv’s now TrueTv original show “Forensic Files” is probably one of the more interesting and educational reality shows. It is part reality show because unlike most reality shows this one is actually true, the cases are true, the victims are real, the villains are real and the verdicts are real. Forensic FilesRating: 0 likes, 1 dislikes Peter Thomas is an amazing narrator! His voice is very clear and deep, which makes the episode flow better. 4x22: A Daughter's Journey recap: A woman, Helen Marlene Oakes, is missing in Verona, Kentucky. Evidence points to her being murdered by her husband Bill Major. However, her case remains unsolved for twenty years. Then Lalana Bramble, her daughter speaks out on the fact that Marlene’s husband, Bill, abused her and her brother. Lalana is given access to her mother’s file when she turns twenty. She also finds a diary left by her mother saying she’ll divorce Bill. Bill is sent to prison but for charges related to abuse not murder. Lalana decides to investigate case on her own. She finds a skull which she believes is her mother. With the use of DNA, Lalana is able to verify whether this was her mom. The skull indicated not just murder but someone covering up the mother in a similar fashion that Bill said he would do to Marlene. The mitochondria DNA matches the saliva of Marleen signifying its her DNA. Bill is arrested for murder after his father tapes Bill incriminating himself for the crime. Bill Major is sentenced to life in prison.... read more.

14x3: Dirty Laundry recap: Narrator Paul Thomas tells case of Bob Bosely in Alexandria, Kentucky who ran a roofing business. He had a wife named Amy and was well off. One night the couple awoke to find an intruder. Shots were fired and Bob was shot. A tape is played of the 911 call Amy played. A pause is made including a loud thump. Police found Bosley in a kneeling position. Amy was bruised but was ok. She gave a description of the suspect which included him having the odor of urine... read more.

Jessica’s boyfriend, Chris Edwards, says he hasn’t seen her. It’s revealed that Jessica was pregnant and that she may have had another boyfriend also named Chris. Investigators focus their efforts on uncovering a text message Jessica sent before she went missing. Again, her current boyfriends says he didn’t know. The other Chris is revealed. 12x18: Cold Hearted recap: Peter Thomas talks about the case of Randy Thompson an ex fire-fighter. Thompson had several health problems. Thompson developed a stomach virus. Lynn, his wife, helped him, but Randy later died. The medical examiner finds evidence of heart trouble. Randy’s mother gets a letter from a woman who suspects that both of their sons were murdered via poisoning. The man who was poisoned was named Glen Turner. Amazingly, Glen Turnery’s wife was Lynn Turner, Randy’s wife. This fact went unnoticed. The toxicology results reported that there were no drugs on alcohol in both victims... read more.
