Waitress, played by Mary Elizabeth Ellis
The coffee shop waitress, whose real name is unknown, is the target of Charlie's affection. She constantly rejects him for being too disgusting and creepy, though she has given him a couple of chances. She offered to be his sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous, but Charlie's advances were too much to handle. She also agreed to carpool with him to a Big Brothers Big Sisters event, but she changed her mind when his "little brother" got drunk under his watch.

Instead of Charlie, the waitress vies for the attention of Dennis. The only time Dennis returns the attention is to use her in some way. He has used her for sex, revenge, and personal gain. However, she continues to go after him and sees everything he does through rose-colored glasses. The waitress did try to hurt him by sleeping with Frank, but Dennis was more shocked than distressed.
 
 
Matthew Mara, played by David Hornsby
Matthew Mara is a high school classmate of the gang's. He and Dee met in physical therapy, where he earned the nickname Rickety Cricket due to the creaky leg braces he wore. Back in school, Dennis would teabag Matthew when he passed out at parties, and Charlie would take pictures. Then they would pass the pictures around school. Matthew was infatuated with Dee in school, and she would often take advantage of this by getting him to do anything she wanted.

Matthew went on to get a masters in theology and became a priest. He recently left the priesthood when Dee seduced him. He immediately proposed to her, not knowing that she was just using him. Without his job, Matthew was forced to live on the streets. Thanks to an unexpected meeting with Charlie and Dee, he started doing cocaine and got beaten up by the mob. He currently continues to be a street rat.
