Miss Universe

The Miss Universe beauty pageant is an international beauty competition where the winners of various national competitions compete to be crowned the most beautiful woman in the land. This series televises that pageant, with one being held each year.

The pageant was first nationally televised in 1960 on CBS. For the first five years, the broadcast included the Miss USA pageant, until that was aired separately beginning in 1965. Miss Universe started airing on NBC in 2003.
