Brainiac, voiced by Corey Burton

Bio: Brainiac was originally a Kryptonian supercomputer which sole purpose was to monitor and gather records of Krypton’s existence. However, somewhere between its program and its protocol, Brainiac gained self-awareness and autonomy, and decided that knowledge becomes more precious when it is held by the fewer beings. So, when it sensed the imminent destruction of Krypton, Brainiac chose not to warn its inhabitants, and collected all the data of Krypton and saved itself. Then, Brainiac uploaded its core program to a satellite that was discovered years later by an alien spacecraft. Brainiac took the spacecraft as its own and used it to explore the universe, collection records of all the planets he ran across, and then destroying them, so as to ensure its knowledge became more valuable. Throughout its journey, Brainiac also assimilated the technology of the worlds he visited, and this way evolved into an advanced human-like android.

Brainiac eventually made its way to Earth and established contact with Lex Luthor. They agreed to swap gathered data, but Brainiac actually intended to access every defense computer on the planet through LexCorp. Fortunately, Superman discovered his true intentions and stopped him in time. However, before being seemingly destroyed, Brainiac managed to get itself downloaded into LexCorp's computers.

Then, Brainiac tried to restore itself on two circumstances. On one occasion, it captured Luthor inside LexCorp and forced him to rebuild its body. On another time, Brainiac got into Bruce Wayne's computer during his brisk partnership with LexCorp, and took control of Bruce with nanotechnology.

In 2979, Brainiac is still active. It managed to travel back to the year 1979 to try and destroy the teenage Clark Kent, before he could develop his inherent powers. However, with the helping hand of Cosmic Boy, Chameleon Boy and Saturn Girl, Clark managed to defeat Brainiac, teleporting it into the Sun and smilingly destroying its last remains.
