En route to Tokyo during a violent storm, a cargo plane crash lands in the ocean and four passengers miraculously escape from death. They drift on a safety raft and enter a spaceship that is used to analyze and study alien civilizations. The four people avoid a mutated and growing microbe, except one, and finally try to communicate with the distant alien race owing to a computer. After being disinfected and studied, they're released. By chance, a plane rescue them. On board, they see the spaceship which goes back to its home place and self-destroys in the atmosphere.

2x5: Demon With A Glass Hand recap: A man, Trent, runs through the night in the city of Los Angeles. He has no memory of who he is or where he is, and believes that the people that wiped his memory are pursuing him. Trent escapes them once and takes refuge in an alleyway, and removes the glove on his left hand. Beneath it is a glass hand containing a computer. The computer can’t tell him who is following him, but explains that each pursuer wears a medallion. They have traveled to the present from the future using a Time Mirror, and can send more of them. It tells Trent that it can serve him better if it’s complete, and is missing three finger nodes... read more.

1x27: Fun and Games recap: On the planet Earth, boxer Mike Benson finishes a fight and then goes to an apartment for a high-stakes game of poker. As he prepares to knock at the door, schoolteacher Laura Hanley comes in with her groceries and goes upstairs to her apartment. Mike notices her briefly and then knocks. The dealer's bodyguard, Sharpie, lets him in and then the two of them watch the game. The bodyguard watches the dealer, and Mike watches him. When the dealer deals from the bottom, Sharpie shoots him and the players run for it... read more.

1x14: The Zanti Misfits recap: In the ghost town of Morgue, CA, Major Roger Hill drives Professor Stephen Grave up to a seemingly abandoned hotel. Hill activates a buzzer and a sentry takes his papers and goes back inside. While they wait, Grave looks around. The major looks up at the sky and Groves asks if he saw "them." Hill says it was probably a bird and figures that their visitors may come in the daytime since they have nothing to fear. Groves asks why they're allowing it to happen, and Hill says that they have no choice. He explains that they were told when the penal ship would land and instructed to stay out of its way "or else." When Groves wonders what the "or else" was, Hill says that they wanted a non-violent sequence but promised to attack if anything went wrong.
