There's been a few changes to the forums on the site. To avoid any confusion, read on about what has changed.

TV Talk
You will notice the General TV Discussion and Upcoming Shows forums are both gone. They have been replaced by TV Talk. This is where all TV related discussions will now be held, whether the show has been canceled, is currently airing, or has yet to air.

All previously existing threads found in the General TV Discussion and Upcoming Shows have been moved to TV Talk.

Members' Lounge
The Bored Section and Off Topic have been combined to make the Members' Lounge. As a result of this, all non-TV related topics will go here. Doesn't matter if the thread is for debate, or just for posting.

All previously existing threads found in the Off Topic and Bored Section have been moved to the Members' Lounge.

Recreation Lounge
This is the new "games" section. Any thread that is considered a forum game has been moved here. All future forum game threads must be posted here as well. Any game threads found in the Movie, Games, Music, People, Books, and Sports section are exempt from this.

As always, any questions, concerns, additional input or problems about any new function or update can be directed to any staff member.

Odd.

Anyways, on the main page, the left hand bar is really confusing. I thought the old version was much more simple.

Awesome. "Bored" was finally dropped. About time.

And I'm loving Members Lounge.

I like how the bar looks on the left side, I thought that the old version of it was too cluttered.

Other than that, how the forums are now is going to take a little getting used to.

I like the new forums, the bored section never really made sense to me. It will definitely take some getting used to since I've basically been here from the start.

The new sidebar is much better too. The old one was way too cluttered.

Overall, some really good changes.

Thank you for getting rid of that ridiculous bored section. Messed up. I'm like if you are so bored, get a life

Members lounge thanks for putting that in the place of off topic.

Eh..it's just gonna get time to get used to it. Same with the forums. It's more organized, I'll say that. It looks weird having only three general forums though, since we used to have five..well, usually four, but they added the new members board.

I liked how you dropped "TVRage.com ..." off the Bug and Suggestion forums.

Ironic, isn’t it? TVRage created the “bored” section in response to TV.com’s banning of “bored threads”. It helped popularize TVRage and brought over a wide array of users who were discontent with TV.com’s policy. I realize that such threads aren’t banned, but I’m surprised so many people held contempt for that section when it had actually served a valuable role.

It's your right to hate the old section if you want, but it was more important than you think.

That's very true. Although it does seem a little silly to have two different sections of the forum for non-TV related threads, doesn't it? While we still somewhat have that now, with the addition of the games section, now all threads that are non-TV related are in one place.. and all TV-related threads are in one place.

Just makes more sense.
